SeedsGROW. Harvesting global food security and justice in the face of climate change (April 2017 – March 2018)

This progress report provides a review of program activities, progress towards outcomes, risks encountered, and lessons learned in the period of 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018. All activities contribute to the overarching SeedsGROW mission of “Harvesting greater food security and food justice by supporting the gender-just transformation of the global governance of food systems, and strengthening affected citizens’ access to knowledge, livelihood resources and public goods in the context of climate change and increased competition over resources.”

SeedsGROW – thanks to the invaluable support of Sida, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch National Postcode Lottery (NPL), the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Dutch private foundations – is working on issues of unequal and unsustainable global seeds and food systems. It demonstrates how to make changes and identifies how effective methods can be scaled up and sustained. Oxfam and its partners are proud of the program’s considerable achievements over the past four years.
