At the side event, SD=HS shared insights on the global role of smallholder farmers in adapting strategies to ensure Food and Nutrition security. Besides this presentation, Sonia Quispe Ttito from the community of Choquecancha (Peru) made a statement about some of the experiences of her community, including the threats she and other (mainly) women are facing as indigenous smallholder farmers.
